Disneyland Ticket Prices Increase August 5

After following the rumor mill around Disneyland ticket price increases, the official Disney Parks Blog confirmed that prices will increase on August 5.

They haven’t provided the amount of increase, rather directing people to check out Disneyland.com on August 5.

We have Annual Passes, so the increase won’t affect us until renewal next year, however for those making trips with us, this will certainly affect their decision to make the trip or not. Historically, they hike up the ticket prices the first week of August. But in this economy, I feel Disney should’ve taken a pass this year on the increase to give visitors a break.

What do you think? Will this affect your trip planning in any way?

Original Disney Parks Blog post addressing price increases:

About P.T.

Once I took my daughter to Disneyland for the first time at 14 months, I couldn't get enough. I literally saw the magic in her eyes and one of my "things" as a mom is to never let the magic slip away. Being an Annual Passholder and living 400 miles away from Disneyland is almost painful. Now that she's 2, she's a seasoned guest and has not run out of new adventures. Raising a Disney Kid is designed to provide helpful tips, planning info, reviews, and park updates for other parents visiting the Disneyland Resort.
